University Relations and Media Affairs A brochure was published to introduce the university to new students under the title: “Who are we?” In Arabic and English, and the first university specializing in health sciences in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia as a whole region. This booklet is designed to familiarize them with university regulations, programs, and curricula in its colleges in Riyadh, Jeddah and Al-Ahsa.

The booklet stated that the academic programs in various medical fields that were offered by the National Guard Health Affairs (National Guard Health Affairs) proved to be the important foundations for a successful start to the university. As a result of the positive reactions in qualifying citizens in various medical and health specialties, the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdul Aziz issued a royal decree establishing the university on March 6, 2005. KSAU-HS has now been accredited by the Ministry of Education in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for various programs. In the undergraduate and postgraduate levels.

Moreover, the brochure states that the university has 7 colleges on the campus in Riyadh, 4 colleges on the campus in Jeddah, and 3 colleges on the campus in Al-Ahsa. King Saud bin Abdulaziz University also includes the Deanship of Graduate Studies, the Deanship of Admission and Registration, the Deanship of Student Affairs, the King Abdullah International Center for Medical Research, the Postgraduate Training Center and the Health Promotion Center.

Furthermore, the freshman starts in the Pre-Professional Program in the College of Sciences and Health Professions. After that, the student enrolls in one of the bachelor's programs in the College of Medicine, the College of Dentistry, the College of Pharmacy, the College of Public Health and Health Professions, the College of Nursing, and the major in Applied Medical Sciences in Riyadh, Jeddah and Al-Ahsa. . There are also master's programs in medical education in the College of Medicine and Health Informatics, System and Quality Management, Epidemiology, Medical Statistics, Public Health and Bioethics in the College of Public Health and Health Informatics, in addition to the Saudi Board and Fellowship Programs. .

The booklet displays an illustrated map of the university campus in Riyadh that shows the location of the colleges, the administrative district, the sports and entertainment area, the hospital, the residential area, the medical research area, the service area, car parks and trams between the academic district and King Abdulaziz Medical City.

It should be noted that the academic study at the university is linked to the training programs in King Abdulaziz Medical City in health affairs at the Ministry of National Guard, whereby the student is given the opportunity to clinical training under the supervision of senior consultants and specialists in the various diagnostic and treatment departments.
